CHALLENGES
- Communication / Poor road conditions
- Long distance from village to Rural Bank
- Busy schedule of the villager
- High rate of hiring vehicle
- High expenses by SHG at the initial stage
( Rs. 500 for opening bank account, Rs. 200 for set of book of account, Rs. 80 for meeting minute, hiring vehicle. Eg. Piler to E. Lungdar Rs. 2000)
FEEDBACK
- Need of black/white board during CRP round
- Need of Emergency light on next CRP round
- Zero balance savings opening account option for new SHG’s
- Travelling and food expenses in advance before the CRP round to the field staff
EXPERIENCE
- Better response when the village leader’s are actively involved
- The co-operation among the Block team was very good
- Got a chance to taste different types of food, Local cosine by Andhra team
- The villagers were motivated well by the team
