1. Construction of PCC Flooring Approach Road to Supply Go-down, E.Lungdar
Sanction Amount : Rs. 300000.00
The approach road to Supply go down in E.Lungdar is muddy and there used to be water logging during monsoon, The road not only leads to supply godown but also leads to BDO Office, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Office and Staff Quarters and is also serving as short cut route for PWD guest House, Officials, Visitors from Inside and outside Village are not encountering problems anymore due to Construction of this PCC Flooring under MGNREGS.
2. Construction of Water Tanky cum Toilet near Indoor Stadium- E.Lungdar
Sanction Amount : Rs. 154000.00
The Villagers in E.Lungdar are enthusiastic for promotion of Sport Discipline -Badminton , the Indoor Stadium which was built under BADP in earlier days has no Toilet and this become difficulty for sport enthusiasts, Moreover, There being no other Stadium to play Badminton and indoor sports in the village, The stadium is also utilized for conducting Block Level Sport competition under (RGKA) Hence the needs of Toilet for the Stadium is met from MGNREGS in 2014-2015.
3.Construction of Retaining Wall near VEC house – E.lungdar
Sanction Amount : Rs. 143000.00
The land near VEC House is slope and prone to Landslide, to prevent such possible disaster retaining wall was proposed, Hence construction of R/wall under MGNREGS thus prevents landslide and people residing nearby.
4. Construction of Breast Wall near salvation Army Meeting Hall – N.Vanlaiphai
Sanctioned Amount : Rs. 200000.00
The internal road around darthlalang tlang road widening was undertaken from MGNREGS last year, however the road widening leaves the land around the road prone to Landslide, to prevent such possible disaster near salvation Army Church, retaining wall was proposed, Hence construction of R/wall under MGNREGS thus prevents landslide and people residing nearby from disaster it may cause.
5. Construction of Plain Cement Concrete Flooring from K.Lalchangliana’s House
Sanction Amount: Rs. 83700.00
The PCC flooring constructed near Lalchangliana’s house is proposed by VEC N.Vanlaiphai to connect upper and lower lane around the area, when there is fund available from MGNREGS, The Construction shall be continued. The passersby are much benefitted from this construction.
6. Construction of Retaining Wall near Baptist Church – Lungkawlh
Sanction Amount : Rs. 50000.00
Landslide destruct the land around Baptist Church, Lungkawlh and create danger for villagers if the land is not retained, Hence, Knowing the importance the VEC of the Village have proposed and the Retaining wall was constructed.
7. Construction of PCC Flooring Approach to Community Hall – Sailulak
Sanction Amount : Rs. 150000.00
Sailulak Village, like other villages are encountering problems in internal road connectivity , the approach road to Community Hall and BNRGSK constructed under rural Development Scheme, Border Area Development Programme and MGNREGS respectively is muddy and patchy, as the hall serves an important place for gathering and social activities for the villagers and even officials for conduct of Social Audit and Rosgar Diwas, plain cement concrete flooring was proposed under MGNREGS which became very useful for the passersby in the village.
8. Construction of RCC Slab Culvert at Zotui to Pangai Road – Khawlailung
Sanction Amount : Rs. 117000.00
This Slab culvert construction was proposed by Villagers i.e VEC of Khawlailung Village to improve internal road communication among villagers, the road is useful as it connects the village dumping area, earlier the road could not be approached by big vehicle but now it can be easily approached and garbage can be dumped by vehicle though this route.
9. Clearance of Road between Khawlailung to Hmunzawl – Khawlailung
Sanction Amount : Rs. 50000.00
Khawlailung to Hmunzawl road is the main road that connects nearby villages and Cultivations of Khawlailung Village ( i.e Paddy fields) being fair weather road, the road needs frequent maintenance there being no fund available from other souces, The problems encountered by villagers was resolved from MGNREGS every year. Villagers are benefitted from this road maintenance under MGNREGS.
10. Construction of Water Storage Tank near Varhva : Mualcheng
Sanction Amount : Rs. 299300.00
Scarcity of water during Dry season is the main problem of villagers in this area, water for Household purposes is usually fetch by vehicle owners and sell it to Villagers, Knowing the problems of the Villagers, Construction of water storage tank was proposed under MGNREGS to ease the difficulties encountered by the people.
11. Construction of Plain Cement Concrete Pavement Approach to community Hall- Leng
Sanction Amount : Rs. 120000.00

The internal roads in Leng Village are also in a very poor condition , the approach road to Saihnuna Hall (Community Hall) and BNRGSK constructed under Rural Development Schemes, Border Area Development Programme and MGNREGS respectively is muddy and irregular, as the hall serves an important place for gathering and social activities for the villagers and even officials for conduct of Social Audit and Rosgar Diwas, plain cement concrete flooring was proposed under MGNREGS which became very useful for the passersby in the village.
12. Construction of Side Drain cum small RCC Slab Culvert near YMA Library – Leng
Sanction Amount : Rs. 100000.00
Leng Village has also proposed construction of Side drain under MGNREGS for improvement of sanitation in the village, as was done in previous years, this is expected to bring safety for the road and proper sanitation as sewage drainage is the main cause of unhealthy liquid waste in a village.
