The Block Disaster Management Plan of E. Lungdar includes the facts and figures collected through primary and secondary sources as well as formal and informal sources available at our disposal with a view to prepare, prevent and mitigate the natural disaster risk.
Data collection and classification are subjected to annual updation. The plan has been prepared with the following points.
- Contingency plan in a continuous process.
- All are not equal in a crisis situation.
- During relief measures social auditing ensures transparency
- Involvement of women, NGOs and VC is a must in entire process

Collection of Contact nos. Address etc with warning teams of villages and other important sources. Readiness of equipments Training and mock drills. Regular contact with district control room. Checking of regular weather forecasting. |
Cross check of source of information. Dissemination of accurate information via fastest means of communication. Activate the control room. Announcement through PA system for evacuation and to take shelter in safe places. |
