CONVERGENCE WORKS OF IWMP WITH OTHER RURAL DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES (MGNREGS & BADP)
In E.Lungdar RD Block we are practising convergence of various rural development schemes whenever possible, Lungchhuan Village with a total Jobcard holders 148 nos had engaged in Land development works in IWMP covered area, where farmers in the area had oranges, valencia and other horticultural plantations.
Following are user members from IWMP benefitted from MGNREGS:-

Moreover, The area was connected by Medium truckable road constructed under Border area Development Programmme in the year 2013-2014, This road helps the people in transporting their harvest. Along the road, job card Holders from Lungchhuan Village are now planting various ornamental trees, fruit bearing trees etc under MGNREGS (2015-2016) , This Roadside Plantation is expected to benefit passersby and is done as a means of Biodiversity conservation.
