Leng Village had constructed their community Hall under BADP in the year 2005- 2006, The construction could not be completed by the amount sanctioned in that year and was continued from fund under BADP in later years and was completed in the year 2011. The villagers have utilized the Hall for various public functions and recreational activities.

Leng to sakuhthingkhel MTR was completed in the year 2013-2014 Border Area Development Programme, The Villagers have their Rice Cultivation and orange Orchards in the connected area the Amount estimated to construct this road was 36 lakh proposed in the year 2010-2011, but due to effort rendered by the executing agencies ( i.e RD department) the road construction reached the target with an amount Rs 26 lakh and was completed in the year 2013-2014. This road benefits the people in transporting their harvest and their daily transportation to their fields.

The School was established in the year 2000 by the villagers in celebration of their village centenary. the status was upgraded to Lump sum aided in the year 2005 and to Adhoc aided status in the year 2008. That time, due to the need of the villagers, they had constructed the building with bamboos, woods and other materials available in the Village. There being no available fund for construction of School building from the concerned Department, and being not covered by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, the school committee could not construct better buildings until 2012. The building was almost collapsed and would not be able to withstand rainy season if not constructed from BADP, Furthermore, It is difficult for the students from middle School to go to nearby villages or District Capital for Higher Education at that age and the Villagers could not afford to get such education due to poverty, bad road communication and other reasonable factors. Hence, this construction really benefits the villagers to get Education till Class –X standard. At present, there are eight (7) teaching staffs, one Grade IV supervised by one Headmaster, the school even have the record of 100% Matriculation result in 2013-14.

Leng Water reservoir was constructed following proposal from the Village council members, This reservoir has its constant water sources due to the forest reserve above, Leng village has been protecting the said forest since last three decades, Now some villagers have put fishes and thw water will be useful at the time of dry season to meet the needs of Villagers and is expected to serve as ground water recharge for the micro watershed around the area.
