This community hall was constructed under Border Area Development Programme in the year 2011-2012 with a total cost of Rs 14 lakhs. Lungchhuan Village is a small village with about 150 households and is situated at the top of the hill between N.Vanlaiphai and Chekawn Village. They have encountered difficulties like transportation and other communication problems because of their location. However, Border Area Development programme has brought them a blessing and with this construction which became a valuable asset for the villagers, they could have a place for social gatherings, indoor games and cultural activities.

This Medium truckable Road connecting Lungchhuan Village to Chekawn constructed under Border Area Development Programme was completed in the year 2013-2014 BADP, The Construction was started in the year 2009-2010 BADP and was completed after 4 years targeting one or two kilometers in each year by an on going process. The Construction has benefited the villagers in many ways as it route through their cultivable land where they grow orange and paddy. About 70-80 households in the village are having Orange Orchards and 8 households are having Wet rice Cultivation and the area below the road is under IWMP serchhip III/2011-2012 Project covered area ( Lower Tuichang VII). Hence the user groups and other Villagers are able to transport their harvest by vehicle through this route. Moreover, The road also serves as a communication between neighbouring villages ie Chekawn and Sialsir. By taking this road the villagers could save their time and resources as it is nearer than the main road ie N.Vanlaiphai to Chekawn Road.

The School was established in the year 1997 by private individuals; the status was upgraded to Lump sum aided in the year 2005 and to Adhoc aided status in the year 2008. That time, due to the need of the villagers, they had constructed the building with bamboos, woods and other materials available in the Village. There being no available fund for construction of School building from the concerned Department, and being not covered by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, the school committee could not construct better buildings until 2012. Moreover, This High School is important for the village because the nearest high school is at N.Vanlaiphai which is about 35 kms from Lungchhuan . Hence, this construction would really benefits the villagers to get Education till Class –X standard. At present, there are eight (7) teaching staffs, one Grade IV supervised by one Headmaster, The School has 32 nos of students.
